Tom Brady discusses post-retirement roles, Raiders ownership in Fox Business interview

Tom Brady, the National Football League's only seven-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback who played 23 seasons with the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers,[1][2] has taken on several roles since retiring after the 2022 season.

Brady serves as lead color analyst for Fox Sports' top NFL broadcast team alongside play-by-play announcer Kevin Burkhardt, under a 10-year contract signed in 2022.[3] He was approved by NFL owners as a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders in June 2023.[4] Brady also holds the position of Chief Wellness Officer at eMed Population Health, a role he assumed in February 2023.[5]

In a recent appearance on Fox Business' "Mornings with Maria," host Maria Bartiromo asked the 48-year-old Brady if he would consider pursuing majority ownership of an NFL team. Brady responded that NFL franchise valuations have become "very expensive" after paying ordinary income taxes during his playing career.

Brady expressed satisfaction with his current positions, highlighting the joy of broadcasting. "I certainly love my role at FOX and broadcasting has been … I could never have imagined the joy I find being able to be on camera with my great partner Kevin Burkhardt," he said.

He also noted enjoying entering stadiums without being booed and his involvement with the Raiders. Brady told Fox News Digital that Logan Paul "impressed" him during the Fanatics Flag Football Classic, where Brady quarterbacked Founders FFC against Paul's Wildcats FFC at BMO Stadium on March 21, 2026.

Brady added that he aims to inspire others through his experiences, drawing from mentors who helped him achieve his career successes.
