Florida Prosecutors to Subpoena Woods' Prescription Records

Florida prosecutors plan to subpoena Tiger Woods' prescription drug records from a local pharmacy following his DUI arrest on March 27, 2026. A court filing specifies the request covers records from January 1 to March 27, 2026, at Lewis Pharmacy, including details on medications filled, dosages, instructions and warnings. The move comes after Woods crashed his Range Rover in a two-vehicle incident in Jupiter Island, prompting field sobriety tests despite breathalyzer results of triple zeros.

Body camera footage shows Woods performing four seated sobriety exercises due to his injuries, including seven back surgeries and more than 20 leg operations. He informed deputies he takes several prescription medications and walks with a limp from a fused ankle. A deputy cited his lethargic movements and other impairment signs before handcuffing him on suspicion of an unknown substance.

This marks Woods' second DUI arrest, the first occurring in 2017. A 2021 car crash had caused severe leg injuries that sidelined the golfer for the year.

Woods pleaded not guilty to charges of driving under the influence, property damage, refusal to submit to testing and careless driving. He waived arraignment and requested a jury trial. On Tuesday, he announced plans to seek treatment, stating, "I know and understand the seriousness of the situation I find myself in today. I am stepping away for a period of time to seek treatment and focus on my health." A judge granted him permission on April 1 to travel abroad for inpatient treatment.
